>> Pre-Construction Treatment |
Foundation on ground level.
 The Chemicals used for the soil
treatment shall be as follows;
1.
Site Clearance:
The site under reference must
have been cleaned as to remove
all wood waste and other
unwanted waste material. Special
note should be taken, to remove
buried tree trunks and branches,
any wooden pieces which are
likely to remain under the
ground to avoid any possibility
of termite colonization.
2. Treaments of
foundation:
When the foundation trenches are
ready and before putting down
the ballast, the floors of
foundation trenches are to be
bored with a screw bar at
specific distance. The
anti-termite emulsion should be
then sprayed over the floor as
per the standard rates viz, 7
liter per Sq.ft.
3.Treatments of Backfill
earth:
Anti Termite emulsion spraying
is done when the foundation
walls are ready above ground
level and the earth is being
filled back in the gaps & sides,
after every layer of earth of
approximately I ft. This
evidently completes the
treatment for foundation
internally as well as externally
so as create Anti Termite
chemical barrier.
4. Treatments of Plinth
Area
The entire plinth area is to be
treated prior to commencing the
floor work. This is done by
similarly by boring the floor
area at intervals of one foot
(60 cms) with a screw bar and
then spraying the Anti Termite
emulsion at the prescribed rate.
